Mounjaro (Tirzepatide)
Mounjaro is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist — the first of its kind. It works by mimicking two gut hormones that regulate blood sugar and appetite, leading to reduced food intake and significant weight loss. Clinical trials (SURMOUNT) showed average weight loss of up to 22.5% of body weight.
